I was born in 1975 in the small Belgian medieval town of Dendermonde, cornered by 2 rivers and mostly famous for a horse. I started high school there, but finished it in the city of Ghent, where things where a little more interesting. Ghent is still my favourite city in the world.

I started my first job aged 19 at IBM, where I helped set up the helpdesk for the first internet banking product in Europe. After I worked as a web developer and designer at On-Line Training & Solutions and Silicon Image.

In 1998 I started working freelance and over the years expanded from web design and development to marketing and consultancy. From 2005 until 2009 I worked for alto alto, a small boutique agency with a long list of national and international clients.

In the last 6 years I have spent a lot of time working and traveling in South East Asia. I have slowed down on the client work and I am now running a small eco-friendly resort in Thailand together with a destination and booking website. These projects now take most of my time.

I have decided to concentrate on developing my own projects instead of doing client work. If you are a games developer (Flash, mobile and social app's) I would love to hear from you, especially because you read my Bio all the way to the end.
